Using AquaRay fixing brackets for more permanent attachment with six screws (stainless steel self tap, or nylon nut and bolt – all supplied) to the INSIDE or UNDERSIDE of a wooden or metal hood or other enclosure. Caution: Before the brackets have been attached to the wooden or metal hood or other enclosure using all six screws, make sure that they are fully pushed onto the metal rail of the heat sink.

    OPERATION Once mounted above the aquarium according to one of the recommended installation methods detailed above, the lamp unit may be connected to the power supply unit (PSU) and then the PSU connected to the mains using the power cord supplied, and switched on.

    A MiniLED 500 lamp unit should need little or no maintenance once set up. However due to salt deposits and the high calcium level in marine aquariums it is common for deposits to build up on the body of the unit. Therefore it is recommended that:- a.

    WARTUNG Achtung: Zur Vermeidung eines möglichen Stromschlags sollte bei Verwendung dieses Elektrogeräts in der Nähe von Wasser besonders vorsichtig umgegangen werden. Achtung: Vor Installation oder Wartung Ihrer MiniLED 500-Lampeneinheit immer zuerst die Stromversorgung zum Netzteil trennen. Achtung: Nicht versuchen, das Kunststoffgehäuse des Netzteils zu öffnen.

    FEHLERSUCHE Problem: Die Lampeneinheit lässt sich nicht einschalten. Lösung: Prüfen Sie die Kabelverbindung zwischen Lampeneinheit und Netzteil. Lösung: Prüfen Sie, dass das Netzkabel fest im Netzteil eingesteckt ist. Lösung: Prüfen Sie die Sicherung im Netzstecker des Netzteil und wechseln Sie sie bei Bedarf aus (gilt nur für Großbritannien).
  • Page 24 Die Lampeneinheit vom Netzteil trennen, d. h. den Stecker ziehen, der sich im Abstand von 150 mm zum Netzteil befindet. Nach dem Eintauchen in Wasser ist es normal, dass ein wenig Wasser an der äußeren Kante der Lampeneinheit eingeschlossen ist. Entfernen Sie dieses Wasser durch leichtes Schütteln der Einheit in der senkrechten Position.

  • Page 28 INSTALLATIE Let op: deze lampe mogen NIET gebruikt worden als deze gedeeltelijk of volledig ondergedompeld zijn. Het moet STEVIG vastgemaakt zijn op niet minder dan 25 mm van het maximale waterniveau van het aquarium. Dankzij het veelzijdige, compacte en lichte ontwerp kunnen de MiniLED 500 lamp op verschillende manieren boven uw aquarium geïnstalleerd worden, afhankelijk van de toepassing.

    La unidad de lámparas MiniLED 500 y la unidad de suministro eléctrico (PSU) que viene con ella son unidades herméticas y no son piezas a las que deba hacer mantenimiento el cliente. El núcleo de la lámpara tampoco es una pieza a la que el cliente deba dar mantenimiento y la lámpara íntegra debe ser eliminada al final de su vida útil (>50.000 horas).
