Install the Optional Host Card

Your XCubeNXT XN8000D comes with two on-board 10GbE ports and one on-board 1GbE port
on the controller, with two additional host card expansion slots. If you would like to expand the
number of host ports, you can purchase QSAN's optional host cards including 10GbE via SFP+,
10GBASE-T, 16GbE fibre channel or 1GBASE-T host cards. To install a host card, please follow
the steps as illustrated
1. Remove the controller from the system chassis.
Loosen the screws below the release lever on the back of the XCubeNXT. Pull
down both release lever at the same time, then pull out the controller.
Use one hand to hold one end of the controller module (the side with release levers) and the
other hand hold the bottom of the controller. Pull out the controller module until it is free from
the system chassis.
