CLEANING HONEYCOMB

Clean periodically once a month .
If the honeycomb is not too dirty, tap honeycomb lightly to remove the dust .
If the honeycomb is filthy, rinse off with water . Take care not to bend or mark the honeycomb . To
remove the honeycomb, pull the honeycomb removal fixtures (two per honeycomb) down, and
pull the honeycomb down and out .
To secure the honeycomb, push the entire honeycomb into the discharge air outlet, beginning
from the end, position it horizontally, and push the anchor tabs on the honeycomb removal
fittings until they are aligned with the honeycomb engagement groove . The honeycomb is at its
optimum position when the groove and tab positions are aligned properly .)
