After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may occur.
Ensure that the clamp assembly is well positioned in its frame located position.
Adjusting Wh eel Brakes
NOTE: If wheel brakes need replacement, installation must be performed by a qualified
technician.

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 7.1.
1. Remove the two mounting screws, locknuts and washers that secures the wheel
brake assembly to the wheelchair frame.
2. Remove the wheel brake assembly from the wheelchair frame.
3. Move the brake assembly (if necessary) to the other wheel brake position (hole) on
the wheelchair frame.
4. Install the wheel brake assembly into the wheelchair frame.
5. Secure the wheel brake assembly to the wheelchair frame with the two mounting
screws locknuts and washers. Torque to 5Nm.
6. Repeat STEPS 1 to 6 for the other wheel brake assembly.
