Removing/Installing/Replacing the Fork Assembly

NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 5.8.

Flat hexa wrench #19
Fork axle H-1/2-20x3" 15 to 20 Nm
Hexagon socket #19

Fork Assembly
Removing the Fork
1. Pull off the cap and remove the locknut, fork axle, upper & lower washers that
secure the fork assembly to the frame.
2. Remove the fork assembly from the frame.
Installing the Fork
1. Using the fork axle and the existing locknut, install the washers and secure the fork
to the frame. Torque to 20 Nm.
2. Install the cap by pushing on it.
