6.1 - ROUTINE AND PLANNED MAINTENANCE

6.1.a- IN GENERAL
DANGER
All maintenance and cleaning operations must be
carried out after disconnecting the LINE DISCON-
NECTING SWITCH located upstream of the device.
The status that the LINE DISCONNECTING SWITCH
is OFF must be clearly visible to the operator per-
forming the maintenance and cleaning operations.
The routine maintenance works have been divided in
two types:

• ROUTINE MAINTENANCE:

It includes all the maintenance works to be made on
the machine everyday.
• PLANNED MAINTENANCE:
It includes all the maintenance works to be made
according to a maintenance plan in order to ensure a
correct working of the machine.
6.1.b - ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
6.1.b.a - Cleaning machine
The machine must be cleaned at the beginning and end
of each work shift both to ensure proper functioning and
for hygiene reasons.
WARNING
To clean the machine do NOT utilize chemical deter-
gents, metal wool or iron brushes and do not clean
the machine by water jets.
Clean the outside of the machine using a cloth soaked in
water or a sponge without steel wool and non-aggressive
dishwashing liquid.
