4.2 Checking the Status of the D120S Disk Enclosure
This section describes how to check the D120S disk enclosure through the ISM.

Procedure
Step 1 Log in to the ISM.
Step 2 In the navigation tree, click the Physical tab.
Step 3 In the Physical tab, expand the nodes and click Disk Enclosure xx (xx indicates the disk
enclosure ID).
Step 4 In the operation area, click the Device Figure tab.
Step 5 Click the disk enclosure icon or right-click the disk enclosure icon. On the displayed shortcut
menu, choose Properties, and then the Disk Enclosure Properties dialog box is displayed.
Step 6 The parameters of viewing disk enclosure information are described, as shown in
Table 4-2 Parameter Description

NOTE
When you perform
Step
5, you can also click the Device Information tab. The information about the status
and properties of the controller enclosure is displayed.
If the running status of the controller enclosure is Offline, ensure that the power supply of
the controller enclosure is connected and the power indicator is green.
If the health status of the controller enclosure is Unknown, power on the controller
enclosure and check the status again.
If a new alarm related to the controller enclosure is displayed on the alarm interface, click
the alarm and remove the fault according to the troubleshooting suggestions under the
alarm.
No new alarms related to the disk enclosure are displayed on the alarm interface.
The health status of the disk enclosure is Normal and the running status is Online.
Description
The parameter indicates the ID of the disk enclosure.
The parameter indicates the physical type of the disk enclosure: SAS.
