What is UDP? Using User Datagram Protocol (UDP), devices can send short messages known as
What is NDP? Nexus Discovery Protocol (NDP) is designed for use in an IP system via UDP multicasting.

Optional Device Setup

If you have not loaded any pages on your Mio Modero DMS device, it will launch the Setup page by
default. Otherwise, do one of the following to access the Setup page:

Set Protected Password

You can set device specific passwords that control access to the Protected pages.
1. From the Setup page, select Protected Setup.
2. Select Other Settings.
3. Select Set Protected Password. Use the following navigation to set your 5 character password.
4. Return to the Protected Setup page and select Reboot. Confirm your decision.
Password protection can be removed from the Set Protected Password field. Select Clear then Done to
remove any password listed.

Reset System Settings

To remove all settings and return the device to the default factory settings use the following steps:
1. From the Setup page, select Protected Setup.
2. Select Other Settings.
3. Select Reset System Settings.
4. Select Yes to confirm.

notice. These same shortcomings make UDP faster and more efficient for many lightweight
or time-sensitive purposes.
Common uses of UDP include the Domain Name System (DNS), streaming media
applications, and Voice over IP.
The device multicasts until it is discovered and bound to a master.
Mio Modero DMS - Press and hold down the Up and Down buttons for 3 seconds.
Mio Modero DMS Pinnacle - Press and hold in the middle of the slider for 3 seconds.
For Pinnacle devices, touch the top of the slider to move UP and the bottom of the slider to
move DOWN through numerals and letters. The Up and Down buttons scroll through
numerals and letters on the DMS keypad.
Accept Char enters the current value and moves the cursor to the right.
Backspace moves the cursor to the left.
Clear removes everything listed.
Abort exits the edit page without keeping changes.
Done accepts changes and returns to the previous page.
