Preparing the
load items
Follow the manufacturer's instructions regarding pre-cleaning and
pre-treatment as necessary.
Remove any soot in line with the manufacturer's instructions.
 Risk of damage due to ferrous materials that can rust or cor-
rode.
Ferrous materials that can rust or corrode can cause corrosion on
the machine and the load items.
Ferrous materials that can rust or corrode must not be placed in
the machine.
Dismantle the load items in line with the manufacturer's instructions
if possible.
Place small parts in the small-part basket. Observe the colour cod-
ing of the compartments in the small-part basket.
Carry out a visual check before starting every programme:
- Is everything correctly loaded and connected for cleaning?
- Was the recommended loading template followed?
- Has the pressure chamber of the APFD 200 insert for reprocessing
air regulators been supplied with enough compressed air?
- Are the spray arms clean and do they rotate freely?
- Is the filter combination clean?
Remove any coarse soiling and clean the filter combination if ne-
cessary.
- Is the upper basket connected to the water supply and is the con-
nector free from damage?
- Are all process chemical containers sufficiently filled?
The following must be checked at the end of every programme:
- Has the pressure chamber of the APFD 200 insert been supplied
with enough compressed air?
- Carry out a visual check of the load items for cleanliness.
- Have the pressure hoses of the air regulators disconnected from
the quick-release couplings?
 If the compressed air indicator for the APFD 200 insert for re-
processing air regulators shows that the pressure is too low or me-
dium-pressure hoses of the air regulators have disconnected from
the quick-release couplings, the wash water can enter the air regu-
lators.
The wash water may contain detergent and disinfectant.
In both cases, the air regulators must be rinsed and dried internally
in line with the manufacturer's instructions before further use.
