Safety instructions Technical condition The UV lamp for the InnuPure C16 corresponds in its design and construction to the current state of the art technology. Unauthorized modifications or changes, especially such that af- fect the safety of the staff and the environment, are generally not allowed.
Safety instructions for operation The operator of the UV lamp for the InnuPure C16 must make sure that the condi- tion of the device including the safety equipment is sound before each commission- ing. This applies in particular after each modification or extension of the UV lamp or its repair.

Beside the mains connection, the device front provides the button to switch on the UV lamp. During operation of the UV lamp, the green status LED is lit. The time relay for setting the operation time is located on the right side of the device. The factory setting is 30 minutes. A safety switch for monitoring the device environment is located on the left side of the device.

InnuPure C16 must be switched off! Due to danger of tipping, the storage of the UV lamp on the upper level of the priming station of the InnuPure C16 is only possible when the upper rear stopper plate is removed! After removing the rear stopper, the front stopper can be slid into the priming station.
Startup/operation CAUTION! The InnuPure C16 must be switched off before the UV lamp is inserted and the door of the InnuPure C16 must be closed. The UV lamp must be completely slid into the InnuPure C16 before the mains plug may be connected to the mains socket.
Remove the UV lamp from the InnuPure C16. CAUTION! Warming of the housing in the illumination area! Depending on the operating time, the housing of the UV lamp may be heated up to 60° in the illumination area. Setting the operating time of the UV lamp with the time relay Depending on the coding of the DIP switches (1, 2, 3), the operating time of the UV lamp can be set with the dial.

CAUTION! Electric shock! Disconnect the mains plug before changing fuses! If the fuse of the UV lamp is faulty, you can replace it. The fuse holder comprises an addi- tional fuse for the first exchange. Disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket.
Environmental influences and condensate formation can destroy individual components of the UV lamp! The storage atmosphere of the UV lamp must be low in dust and free from aggressive va- pors. If the device is not installed immediately after delivery or not required for prolonged periods, it should be stored in its original packaging.
