    0.2 ml individual tubes, 8 well strips and 96 well micro titer plates. These and other consumables can be ordered from Analytik Jena AG. After pipetting the PCR samples into the wells these must be sealed with a transparent optical adhesive film (sealing film).

     Installation or replacement of color modules All maintenance work and repairs beyond this scope must only be performed by Ana- lytik Jena AG customer service personnel or persons authorized by Analytik Jena AG. Any unauthorized interference limits warranty entitlements. If the device exhibits any faults or details, please contact the Analytik Jena AG customer service immediately.

     If the qTOWER touch has to be sent to Analytik Jena AG for service, a prior decon- tamination must be carried out and documented (see "Return" p. 35).

    If the fuses melt repetitively have the qTOWER touch checked by Analytik Jena AG customer service personnel or by persons authorized by Analytik Jena AG. Installing color modules Depending on the delivery state of the qTOWER³ touch or when purchasing additional color modules, it might be necessary to install the color modules in the device.
  • Page 29 qTOWER touch/qTOWER G touch Maintenance and care Proceed as follows: 1. Press the button on the qPCRsoft touch start screen to exit the program and to shut down the tablet. 2. Switch off the qTOWER³ touch. 3. Open the lid. Remove the four external screws on the inside of the lid.

Remove the old color module or the dummy element installed in this position. To this end, unscrew the two screws M2 and pull the color module out.
