The progress window will indicate the progress of the Firmware update/downgrade. When
completed the Firmware Update Complete page will be displayed, as shown in Figure 3-21.

6 Select RESTART to restart the IP Encoder and complete the update/downgrade procedure.
7 Once the IP Encoder has restarted complete Procedure 3-22 to restore the configuration from
the configuration backup file.
Note
Upgrading the firmware will result in the IP Encoder's IP address being reset to the factory
default of 192.168.1.80 with the default login username Administrator and password MERLIN.
