Restoring configuration from a data file

The IP Encoder has the ability to Restore its configuration from a previously saved configuration
file.
Procedure 3-22 details steps required to complete loading the configuration from a saved file.

Procedure 3-22 Restoring configuration from a data file

1 Ensure that the browser is displaying the Main Configuration page (if not refer to Procedure 3-
11).
2 Select Restore Config.
The Load Configuration File page is displayed, as shown in Figure 3-18.
3 Enter the name of the backup file (including network path) to be used, or select Browse and
use the file browser to locate and select the backup file.
4 Select Load File.
Note
If the file selected is not a valid backup file then the Load Configuration File page will be
displayed with a warning message.
Once a successful file has been selected and loaded the Main Configuration page will be
displayed.
5 Ensure the new configuration settings are correct.
6 Save the new configuration using Procedure 3-19.
