4. Insert the other connecting nipple (10) into the
discharge line connection (2). Attach the hose
to the connecting nipple and firmly tighten the
hose clamp.
5. Prime the garden pump. For doing this, first
unscrew the filling port (11) and fill clear water
up to the rim into the housing. Slightly shake
the pump several times while filling in order to
eliminate air bubbles and resume filling. Also
fill the suction hose with
clear water.
6. Re-tighten the screw of the
filling
port
overtighten
order to not damage the
threads. The pump is now
ready for use.
Hints:
 Do not connect the garden pump directly to rigid pipelines because of
excessive vibration of the garden pump.
 Make sure the water hoses on the pump inlet (3) and the pump outlet (2) are
sealed very tight before switching on the pump.
 Make sure the suction hose of the suction pip connection is immersed into the
water for at least 30 cm.

Operation

1. Insert the power plug into a protected wall socket.
2. Switch on the pump by pressing the ON/OFF switch (7). Never switch on of
off the unit by pulling the power cord.
Thermal Switch – Overheat Protection
The pump is equipped with an automatic thermal protection, which prevents
damage to the pump caused by overheating. If the pump becomes too hot during
operating, it will automatically switch off.
Switch off the pump with the ON/OFF switch and pull the plug. Allow the pump to
cool down for approx. 30 minutes before operating again.
