CONNECTIONS

USING HEADPHONES

Two sets of standard headphones can be
connected via the PHONES outputs (situated
underneath the left-hand piano keys) for private
practice. The internal speakers are automatically
muted when headphones are connected to
Headphones 1 jack.

LINE OUT

The 2 x 1/4" Jack LINE OUT outputs can be used
to connect the piano to an external sound system,
such as a keyboard amplifier, interface, or mixer.

AUX IN / LINE IN

The AUX IN and LINE IN stereo inputs allow
you to mix an external sound source (such as a
smartphone or MP3 player) with the piano's internal
sounds, for playback through the piano's in-built
speakers or headphone output. There are 1/4" Jack
and 3.5mm Jack connection options. The volume of
these inputs are controlled by the external devices
connected.

MIDI OUTPUT

Use the MIDI OUTPUT to transfer MIDI data,
including note and touch velocity, via a 5-pin MIDI
cable (not included) from the piano to the MIDI
INPUT of a compatible external device.

USING USB MIDI

The DP-12 allows the transfer of MIDI via USB to a
compatible computer or audio interface. Use the
computer or audio interface to then control the
MIDI signal.
