SPLIT MODE

The piano keys can be "split" into two sections,
allowing different voices to be played in the left
and right hands.
To enter this mode, press the [FUNCTION/RIGHT]
button followed by piano key Bb-1. The display will
show "on."
The desired left-hand voice can now be selected by
pressing the [FUNCTION/RIGHT] button, followed
by the corresponding voice key (as shown in the
voice select table on page 11). The desired right-
hand voice can be selected using the data control
wheel.
To change the point at which the piano is split,
press and hold the [FUNCTION/RIGHT] button. The
display will momentarily show "SPL" after which you
can either press the desired split point piano key or
use the data control wheel to select the split point
key number.
The volume of the left and right-hand voices can be
individually controlled.
To adjust the left-hand voice volume, press the
[FUNCTION/RIGHT] button to enter edit mode,
followed by the Bb0 piano key. The display will
show the volume setting (default volume is 127.)
The data control wheel can now be used to adjust
the volume between 0-127, as desired.
To adjust the right-hand voice volume, press the
[FUNCTION/RIGHT] button to enter edit mode,
followed by the F#0 piano key. The display will
show the volume setting (default volume is 127.)
The data control wheel can now be used to adjust
the volume between 0-127, as desired.
To exit the split mode, press the [FUNCTION/
RIGHT] button, followed by the Bb-1 piano key.
The display will momentarily show "off" before
returning to the current selected voice number.
