PEDAL SET UP After following the DP-10X assembly guide, and before powering on the piano, please ensure that foot pedal unit is connected to the pedal input jack on the rear connection panel. POWER Safely connect the included power supply firstly to the piano and then the mains, before turning on the piano by pressing the [STANDBY/ON] button. -

DEMO SONGS The DP-10X has 55 in-built demo piano songs. To enter the demo song mode, press the [DEMO/ LEARN] button. The button will flash. Press the [DEMO/LEARN] button again to listen to demo song 1. The display will show “001” The demo songs will play in order, or use the data control wheel to select different demo songs. -

CONNECTIONS USING HEADPHONES Two sets of standard headphones can be connected via the HEADPHONES outputs for private practice. The internal speakers are automatically muted when headphones are connected to headphone 1 jack. MIDI OUTPUT Use the MIDI OUTPUT to transfer MIDI data, including note and touch velocity, via a 5-pin MIDI cable (not included) from the piano to the MIDI INPUT of a compatible external device. -

VOICE SELECT The 24 different voices can be either be selected using the data control wheel, or via the function menu. The number of the selected voice will be shown on the display. To select voices via the function menu, press the [FUNCTION/RIGHT] button, followed by the corresponding piano key as show in the table below:... -

FUNCTION MODE Use the function mode for selecting and editing the piano’s advanced functions. To enter this mode, press the [FUNCTION/RIGHT] button, select the required function with the corresponding piano key, and then use the data control wheel to set the parameter value as desired. Please refer to the keyboard functions chart for the full list of functions and corresponding keys. -

MIDI FUNCTIONS The DP-10X can send MIDI information to a computer or another compatible device, via it’s MIDI Output or USB to Host connections. LOCAL ON/OFF To use the piano purely as a MIDI controller, turn the local on/off function to “off.” Other MIDI devices (or virtual instrument software running on a computer) can now be controlled by the DP-10X, without it playing the piano’s internal sounds. -
