7.5.1 Setting of Zoom Limit Positions
a. If the zoom lmt ON/OFF swtch (SW-) s set
to "OFF," change t to "ON" poston.
b. Set the zoom servo/manual select knob to "M."
c. Move the zoom manually, and stop t at the
poston desred as a tele sde zoom lmt poston.
d. Press "T" sde of the zoom seesaw control lever
and the quckzoom & auto crusng zoom swtch
smultaneously for more than  seconds.(refer to
Note )
─ The tele sde zoom lmt poston wll be
set.
e. Move the zoom manually, and stop t at the
poston desred as a wde sde zoom lmt poston.
f. Press "W" sde of the zoom seesaw control
lever and the quckzoom & auto crusng zoom
swtch smultaneously for more than  seconds.

─ The wde sde zoom lmt poston wll be set.
Note . Before shpment at the factory, the zoom lmt postons were set at the tele end and the wde end
respectvely.
Note . Ether sde of the zoom lmt postons can be set at first.
Note . The wde sde zoom-lmt poston cannot be set to the same poston as the tele sde zoom-lmt
poston, or further toward the tele end than the tele sde zoom-lmt poston. Tele End Zoom
Operaton Range Ths s the same wth the tele sde.
Note . The zoom lmt postons wll be held even f the zoom lmt ON/OFF select swtch s set to "OFF" or
the power to the lens s turned "OFF."
Note . When the zoom lmt poston s set, the LED located nsde the cover wll be lt. The LED wll goes out
when the zoom seesaw control lever or the quckzoom & auto crusng zoom swtchs released.
7.5.2 Zoom Limit Operation
a. If the zoom servo/manual select knob s set to "M," change t to "S."
b. If the zoom lmt ON/OFF select swtch s set to "OFF," change t to "ON."
c. By means of the zoom seesaw control lever, operate the zoom.
Whle pressng the "T" sde of the lever, the zoom moves n the tele drecton and stops at the tele lmt
poston.
Whle pressng the "W" sde of the lever, the zoom moves n the wde drecton and stops at the wde lmt
poston.
Note . Before performng a zoom lmt operaton, f the zoom poston s not wthn the range of the tele sde and
the wde sde zoom lmt postons, when the seesaw control lever s operated, the zoom wll move only
toward the zoom lmt postons, not toward the opposte sde of them.
Note . If a zoom rate demand unt that has the zoom lmt functon s connected to the lens, the valdty of the
zoom lmt functon dffers dependng on the type (dgtal or analog) of the zoom rate demand unt.
･ Wth a dgtal zoom rate demand unt, the zoom lmt functon of the zoom rate demand unt wll be
vald. The zoom lmt functon of the lens wll not work.
･ Wth an analog zoom rate demand unt, the zoom lmt functons of both the zoom rate demand unt
and the lens wll be vald. To avod a confuson of the zoom lmt postons, turn off the zoom lmt
functon of one of them.
