◆ Do not mosten nsde of the applances. It may cause fre or electrc shock.
If the ncdent occurs, shut off the power suppled to the lens mmedately.
◆ Be sure to attach all the parts securely. Droppng any parts from a heght may cause severe accdents.
◆ Do not look at any sorts of strong llumnant such as the sun through the lens. Eyes could be harmed.
CAUTION
◆ Take care when carryng the lens. Droppng the lens whle carryng may cause njury.
◆ Be sure to confrm that the camera to be used wth the lens system (lens and accessores) s able to supply
suffcent electrc power to the lens system. If not, the lens system may not work normally and the camera wll
be damaged. The values of the power consumpton of the lens and the accessores are descrbed n
"Specfcatons" secton of ther operaton manuals.
◆ Before supplyng the power to the lens, make sure all the parts are connected correctly.
◆ When you change the connecton of the lens system, be sure to turn OFF the system. Pluggng or unpluggng
an accessory whle the system s turned ON may cause a malfuncton or trouble.
◆ In order to nstall or release a cable, be sure to hold the jont part. Do not damage the cable by grppng. It
may cause fre or electrc shock.
◆ If any sorts of ncdents such as unusual smoke, nose, smell or obstacles are found, shut off the power
suppled to the lens and detach the lens from the camera mmedately. Please notfy the sales agent from
whch you purchased the product.
◆ Do not remodel the nstrument: t may mpar the functons of product or cause electrc shock.

◆ Lens and ts accessores are extremely precse nstrument, then be sure not to apply the strong mpacts to
them. If the lens s of a type n whch the rear lens protrudes from the flange surface of the lens mount, be
sure not to apply mpact to the lens part when nstallng or releasng.
◆ There may be a case that the glasses of the lens mst when the lens s carred from a cool place to a place
of hgh temperature and hgh humdty. To avod a mst on the glasses, before movng the lens, let the lens
adjust to the ambent temperature of the place where the lens wll be used.
◆ Be sure not to apply mpact to the front part of the lens when operatng the camera.
◆ Put the cap on the lens whle the camera s not used.
◆ If an accessory to be attached to the lens s equpped wth a mechancal drve relayng part, before attachng
t, check the jont part and get rd of all obstacles. If there are any unusual condtons, please contact the
sales agent from whch you purchased the product.
◆ When the lens s used n the weather of fog, ranng, or snowng, cover up the lens to prevent t from the
water.
◆ To mnmze the mpact to the lens n transportaton, set the zoom to the wde end and the focus to the
nfinty sde end before releasng the lens from the camera.
