Setting the temperature
The set temperature can be adjusted in increments of 0.1 °C.
To set a temperature within the normal range of 35 °C
to 37 °C:
1 Hold down
or
key until the desired setting is
displayed.
To set a temperature outside the normal range:
– Extended lower limit: 30 °C to 35 °C,
– Extended upper limit: 37 °C to 38.5 °C.
Only use low temperatures if prescribed by doctor.
Monitor patient very closely.
2 Press unlocking key

3 Hold down
or
key until the desired setting is
displayed.
The setting over 37 °C or under 35 °C should be set within
1 minute.
Otherwise the LED in the key
The extended setting range will be locked again.
If the temperature is outside the measuring range of 5 °C
to 45 °C:
– 3 dashes at the bottom of the display = temperature
below 5 °C,
– 3 dashes at the top of the display = temperature
above 45 °C.
