SDR-WEXT Wired Siren
The SDR-WEXT is an external siren and strobe unit designed for
use with i-on, Menvier and other third-party control units. The
siren uses fixed wiring between itself and the control unit or
expander.
Two models of the siren are available:
 SDR-WEXT-G2 (for EN 50131-4 grade 2 applications)
 SDR-WEXT-G3 (for grade 2 or 3 applications)
The SDR-WEXT-G3 contains all features provided by the
SDR-WEXT-G2, together with several additional features
for enhanced monitoring and system testing.
This product must be installed by qualified service personnel.

 Remote self-test input
 Built-in microphone for sounder fault
reporting
 Optional battery fault reporting
 Optional monitoring of tamper
conditions on Bell (Trigger) input
 Selectable voltage and termination for
tamper return
Note: When using the SDR-WEXT-G3 with
an i-on/Menvier control unit, make sure that
the control unit has firmware version 4.05 or
later.
