1260-18 INCL
Command
Module Specific Syntax 3-4
The 1260-18 uses the command INCL to equate two or more
relays within a single module. When a relay is included with other
relays, then closing that relay will close all relays included with the
closed relay. Likewise, opening the relay will open all relays
included with that relay.
When a relay is included with other relays on a module, those
relays are said to be in an "include group". Multiple include groups
may be defined, but no relay may be in more than one include
group.
The INCL command is not to be confused with the
EQU (Equate) command which operates across
boundaries only as described in the 1260 Option 01
manual.
There are three command syntaxes used with INCL command.
The first command syntax is:
INCL 0
This command instructs the 1260 to discard all existing include
groups. The RESET command will also discard all existing include
groups.
The second syntax is used to define a new include group. This
command uses the syntax:
INCL <include group>
where:
<include group>
include group. This uses the "relay descriptor" syntax as defined
on Page 3-2 ("1260-18 Relay Descriptors") of this manual.
The following examples show several uses of the INCL command.
Again, assume that the 1260-18 has a module address of 7:
INCL 7.0,13,29,147-- equate relays 0, 13, 29 and 147
INCL 7.40-42,50-52-- equate relays 40, 41, 42, 50, 51, and
Multiple include groups may be defined using a single INCL
command. The individual include groups must be separated using
the characters "I;". For example, the following command defines 3
