MODULE OPERATION
The 1260-18 is a 152 channel single wire module consisting of 152
individual SPST relay switches. These individual relays allow the
1260-18 module to be configured via software in any configuration
from 152 - SPST's to 1 - 152PST or any combination thereof (by
use of include command) without the use of hardware jumpers.
This is the same as being automatically configurable as a 1-wire,
2-wire, ... n-wire switch.

The 1260-18 front panel connectors are labeled J200 and J201.
The connector type is 5 x 32 (160-pin) DIN 41 612 male. Figure 3-
2 shows the pin numbering. Signal ground pins are provided for
terminating shields and to allow the use of coaxial cable when
using higher frequency signals (i.e., above 10MHz). The mapping
of channel numbers to connector pins and the available mating
connector cable is given in Table 3-1.
Mating connectors are available for the 1260-18 module. Racal
Instruments also offers the following accessories for mating
connectors (see ordering information for part numbers):

160-Pin Cable Assy, 6ft, 24GA
•
160-Pin Cable Assy, 12ft, 24GA
The 160-Pin Connector kit consists of a connector housing,
customized backshell and 170 crimp pins. The backshell design
has been optimized for system integration. The connector kit has
been designed for 22 to 26 gauge cable. The crimp pin will lock or
'click' into the connector housing only when installed correctly. The
assembler should ensure that the crimp pin is locked by tugging
