3.3 Three point hitch

3.3.1 3 point hitch

When you adjust the 3 point hitch, make sure that:
• It can move fully.
• The depth control lever is in the low position before you attach an implement.
• You adjust the top link to put the implement parallel to the ground.
• If you use a plow, you adjust the lower link stabilizers to a maximum lateral movement of 100 mm.
Setting the hitch parallel to the ground
IMPORTANT:
Obey the specified dimensions.
You can adjust the length of the top link to put the
implement parallel to the ground.
If you:
• Increase the length of the top link, it decreases
the angle.
• Decrease the length of the top link, it increases
the angle.
The top link has 3 possible locations:
• Top hole - Decreased depth control, increased
lift capacity.
• Middle hole - Standard position.
• Bottom hole - Increased depth control,
decreased lift capacity.
Lower the implement to remove the weight from the hitch.
Adjust the top link to level the implement front to rear:
• Release the rod (A).
• Loosen the fastener (B).
• Rotate the top link clockwise to increase the length or counterclockwise to decrease the length.
IMPORTANT:
The length of the top link must not be more than 830 mm measured from the bottom to the center of the
attached point.
IMPORTANT:
Obey the specified dimensions or the top link threads can become damaged.
After you adjusted the top link:
• Tighten the fastener (B).
• Install the rod (A).
