4.12.11 Wheel Tires - Bolts tightening torques and tires pressure

Wheel Tires - Bolts tightening torques
Tighten the rear wheel nuts and bolts to the
specified tightening torque values.
IMPORTANT:
Check the tightness of the rim, disk and wheel
bolts after 10 hours every time you replace a
wheel.
Specifications:
A
Wheel disk to axle flange - 400 Nm
B
Rim to wheel disk - 280 Nm for M18 bolt or
210 Nm for M16 bolt
IMPORTANT:

Wheel disk to axle flange - 300 Nm
E
Rim to wheel disk - (E) rim/disc - 280 Nm for
M18 bolt or 210 Nm for M16 bolt
Tires pressure
Make sure that the tire pressure is compliant to
the specific model tire size. Check the tire inflation
pressure every 100-150 hours. Refer to the
dedicated table in the "Technical specifications"
chapter of this manual.
IMPORTANT:
Whenever the maximum grip is required during
field work, the rear tire inflation pressure can be
reduced to a minimum of 0.8 bar. In this case the
load capacity is severely reduced.
The front and rear tire inflation pressures should
always correspond to the ones given in the
specifications table. These values may be
proportionally reduced to the permitted limits
when necessary to ensure a correct mechanical
match between front and rear wheels.
