Specifying the auto power down setting

Using the Date and Time menu, you can change the format of the date.You can
specify either MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY formats.
To change the date format
1 Select SYSTEM SETUP from the Main Menu.
2 Select DATE-TIME.
3 Scroll down to the date format.
4 Press the left or right arrow key to toggle between the two formats.
The date format is set.
The following procedure describes how to adjust the contrast.
To adjust the contrast
1 Select SYSTEM SETUP from the Main Menu.
2 Select CONTRAST.
3 Change the contrast level using the up or down arrow key.
4 Press the OK key.
The contrast is set.
This menu allows you to select whether to automatically power down the unit
to conserve battery life, and set the time to wait before power down. The
following procedure describes how to control auto power down.
NOTE:
The VDSL Services Tester will not automatically power down when con-
nected to a charger.
To specify the auto power down setting
1 Select SYSTEM SETUP from the Main Menu.
2 Select AUTO POWER.
3 Use the left or right arrow keys to move among the selections:
– OFF - never automatically power down
– 5, 10, or 15 Minutes - the amount of time to wait (in minutes) after a
keypress or no line activity before power down.
4 Press the OK key.
The auto power down setting is specified.
