SETUP
1. Insert the light guide into the handpiece until it
clicks securely into place. About 2 mm of metal
on the light guide will remain visible.
2. Place the orange anti-glare cup onto the light
guide and adjust according to preference.
3. Connect the DC adaptor to the charger stand
and then plug into outlet.
Note: When fi rst plugged in, the charging light
will fl ash RED, then turn to a GREEN steady light
which indicates the base is ready to charge.
4. Install glare shield onto the nose cone with the
thicker side of the gasket towards the handpiece.
Push the shield towards the handpiece until the
fl ange inside the gasket is seated in the groove
at the back of the nose cone.
Note: If the glare shield will not be used, install the supplied o-ring in the groove at the back
of the nose cone to prevent debris build-up.
5. Place the handpiece in the charger, as shown, to begin charging. While in the base, the
handpiece display will fl ash an alternating dash ("-") pattern.
Note: Allow the handpiece to fully charge. The battery should be charged for 5 hours
prior to fi rst use.
