Safety Notes
Diameter and thickness of the grinding wheels must conform to the
requirements of your power tool. Wheels of the wrong size cannot be
shielded or controlled.
Use only grinding wheels which conform to the technical data printed in this
manual and on the wheels.
Regularly confirm whether spark protection and work piece support are not
further than 2 mm away from the grinding wheel. If necessary, readjust the
spark protection and the work piece support.
The grinding wheels will rotate for some time after the engine has been
turned off. Never try to stop the wheels by hand.
Wear suitable clothing when using the grinder. Synthetic materials may be
damaged by flying sparks. Tight clothing cannot get caught in moving parts
easily.
It is advisable to fix the grinder to a work bench. Two slots are located in
the base plate of the grinder that can be used to mount it permanently to a
work bench or stand.
Only use the grinder indoors and protect it from humidity and liquids of all
kinds.
Keep other people out of the immediate working area. All persons in the
working area must wear personal protective equipment. Fragments of the
work piece or the grinding disc may fly off and leave the immediate working
area and cause injuries or damage.
Keep the power cable away from rotating parts.
Do not use this tool close to combustible materials. These materials may
be ignited by flying sparks.
Should the machine become damaged do not use it any further and have it
repaired by a professional or contact our customer support department. Do
not disassemble the machine or try repairing it yourself.
