2.5 Setting the Pressure and Number of
Pinch Rollers to Use
Set the pressure and number used to hold media based on the tool and media being used. Incorrect pinch
roller pressure settings may result in media skew or leave pinch roller marks on the media.

On the LOCAL mode screen, select [PR].

Make settings based on the tool and media used.

Setting
Sets the number of pinch rollers to use.
Sets the pressure used for printing.
Sets the pressure for both the pinch rollers on the edges
(left and right) used for cutting.
Sets the pressure for the pinch rollers used for printing
other than those on the edges.
Sets the pressure for both pinch rollers on the edges (left
and right) used for multilayer printing. The pinch rollers
other than those on the edges are raised so that they leave
no marks on the print surface.
