This Section provides the specific information necessary to program and operate the APCe8650 non-intelligent carrier board. This Acromag APCe8650 is a PCIe Specification version 1.1 compliant PCIe bus slave carrier board. The carrier connects a PCIe host bus to the IP module’s 16-bit data bus per the Industrial I/O Pack logic interface specification on the mezzanine (IP) boards that are installed on the carrier. -

SERVICE AND REPAIR ASSISTANCE Surface-Mounted Technology (SMT) boards are generally difficult to repair. It is highly recommended that a non-functioning board be returned to Acromag for repair. The board can be damaged unless special SMT repair and service tools are used. Further, Acromag has automated test equipment that thoroughly checks the performance of each board. -
