Kotz

Kotz currents consist of a sine current of intermediate frequency (2500 Hz),
modulated in worksets alternating 10 ms of work and 10 ms of pause, which
generates a phase of muscular CONTRACTION and one of recovery.
As other intermediate-frequency currents, Kotz currents contribute to the
penetration into deeper muscles and may be preferred to lower frequency currents
(e.g. rectangular biphasic and faradaic).
