TROUBLESHOOTING AND REPAIR

Problem
Unable to open lid.
Unable to close lid.
Intense release of pressure
from pressure limit valve.

Possible reasons
Unable to open because of
pressure in the cooking pot.
Pressure in the pot is fully
released but the float valve
is stuck because it is too
dirty, and therefore unable
to fall.
Sealing gasket is not
properly installed.
The float valve is stuck
because it is too dirty, and
therefore unable to fall.
Direction at which lid was
closed is incorrect.
Faulty pressure control
resulted in release of
pressure.
Pressure limit valve did not
fall into place.
Solutions
a. Wait for the pressure in
the pot to be completely
released.
b. Press and hold the
pressure release button.
a. Once the product is cold,
please use a stick to poke
the float valve, to make it
fall down.

and wipe the float valve

Install the sealing gasket
properly.
