(2) Do not install the unit over the walkways. Condensation water may fall on people. In case of installing the unit in
such a place, provide the additional drain pan.
(3) When drain piping is necessary for the outdoor unit, use the drain boss set (Optional, DC-01Q).
Do not use drain boss and drain pan kit in the cold area. The drain water in the drain pipe may be frozen and then the
drain pipe may crack.
(4) When installing the unit on a roof or a veranda, drain water sometimes turns to ice on a cold morning. Therefore,
avoid draining into an area where people often use because it is slippery.
