    Notice: Formatting will erase all data on the memory card. WARNING: DrivePro 620 can only support FAT32 and exFAT file format, but not NTFS. 2. To remove, push to eject the memory card out of the slot.

    3-3 Mounting the DrivePro Insert the mount bracket into the top of the cameras, and slide sideways until you hear a click. 2. Thoroughly clean and dry the area of the windshield you wish to mount the DrivePro. If possible, mount the front camera in the middle of the windshield, near the rear-view mirror for the best field of view.

    Note: Insert a microSD memory card before connecting the DrivePro to your car power outlet. Transcend recommends having an experienced installer with proper knowledge of the vehicle install the device to ensure your safety. Transcend assumes no responsibility for any damage to vehicles in connection with an improper installation.

    4. After the car engine is switched on, the DrivePro will automatically turn on and start recording. 5. After the car engine is switched off, the DrivePro will automatically save the current recording, and power it off. Note: Car power outlets of some types of vehicles will still supply power after the car engine is turned off.

    Rear Camera (DrivePro 10) Mode Emergency Recording / Restore to Default Emergency Short press the red button to manually activate Emergency Recording. Recording Long press the red button for 10 Restore to Default seconds to reset device settings to default and format the memory card. Notice: Formatting will permanently erase all data.

    After the car engine is switched on, the DrivePro will automatically turn on and start recording. By default, one video file is saved for every 1 minute of recording. To adjust the recording length, please refer to the Settings section in this manual. After the car engine is switched off, the DrivePro will automatically save the current recording and power it off.

    (connected to power). Transcend’s car lighter adapter does not supply power after the engine is switched off. If long-term recording in Parking mode is required, please use an external power supply. Enter the Parking mode manually by long-pressing the button during video recording.

    6. Settings In the Settings menu, you can adjust settings of video resolution, recording time and G-Sensor sensitivity. You can also set the date/time/time zone, change the interface language, format the memory card, and upgrade firmware. Some settings automatically apply to the DrivePro 10 (indicated by *) while some don’t.

    6-2 Firmware Upgrade 1. User can download the latest firmware for the front (DP250) and the rear (DP10) cameras from the Transcend website. After downloading them, decompress and put them in the “SYSTEM” folder in the respective microSD memory card.

  • Page 25 Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10 ® No drivers are required for connecting the DrivePro to your desktop or laptop. Windows Operating Systems have built-in drivers to support your DrivePro. Upon successful connection to your computer, a new Removable Disk drive with a newly assigned drive letter representing the DrivePro will automatically appear in My Computer, and a Removable Hardware icon will appear in the Windows System Tray.
