SUGGESTED ACTION
Get a qualified person to check the power
being supplied to the BDE. It should be
between 11 – 32VDC at the input to the BDE
and capable of providing up to 50W.
Remove the SIM cover and ensure that the
on/off switch is in the on position. When this
switch in the on position the LED should be
green. If the switch is on and this LED remains
amber then call your service provider for
assistance.
Get a qualified person to check the
co nnection betwe en the BDE and ADE, th is
sh ould in clude th e conn ectio ns at the BDE
and ADE and the entire cable between them.
It is valid for this LED to go red for short
periods of time but it should not remain
red. If it remains red it implies that there
is a problem with the equipment. Please
call your service provider and report all the
information you can see on the web pages as
well as the LED colors.
You may be in an area where a GPS signal
cannot be received, if the vessel moves and
the problem persists then contact your
service provider an d repo rt that intern al GPS
has failed .
