available�
Before commencing operation
• The tool shall be operated only by a person properly
acquainted with the use and maintenance and able to
demonstrate the ability to operate it properly�
• Using the tool by children or teenagers is expressly
prohibited�
• Don't work in bad weather as thick fog, strong wind,
heavy rain and snow represent additional hazards
(because of a possibility of falling on slippery ground,
etc�)�
• Prior to switching on the tool move the hands and
legs away from the cutting line or cutting disc as well
make sure that the cutting accessory is not in contact
with any object�
• Beware of injuries when using a knife for shorten
the cutting line�
• Inspect thoroughly the plot to be worked on. Re-
move any stones, sticks, wire as well as other foreign
bodies: they can be thrown away by the cutting line or
disc and can injure the operator or bystanders�
• During operation no bystanders or animals are al-
lowed within 15 m� Switch off the tool when any by-
standers or animals approach�
• Any use of the tool with the damaged or dismantled
safety guards is prohibited� Do not operate the tool
that is not properly assembled or underwent the unap-
proved changes�
• Direction of the arrow on the cutting disc must al-
ways coincide with the direction of the arrow on the
protective cover�
• Check the cutting disc visually on a regular basis for
deformations, cracks, chips, etc. Do not operate the
tool with the damaged cutting disc�
• Use only recommended cutting accessories. It is ex-
pressly prohibited to install saw blades or use metal
wire instead of the recommended cutting line�
The operator or the tool's owner shall be
liable for the possible accidents or dam-
age that may be caused to a third per-
sons or their property.
During operation
• Always use means of individual protection: glasses
or face shield, ear protectors, dense texture clothes,
rugged footwear with non-slip soles. Never work in
shorts or open footwear�
• Preserve stable position during the work and hold
the tool with both hands� Don't allow the handles
to become oily and never operate the tool with one
hand�
• Move at a foot's pace while working.
• Working on a slope, move across it as it is safer.
• Do not operate the tool above the level of your
waist�
• Do not allow the tool to get overheated when in pro-
longed use�
• It is prohibited to use the tool for cutting of twigs and
branches on trees�
• Use the carrying belt, as it gives better control over
the tool�
• Any operation close to wire fences or stretched wires
is prohibited. The wire can be broken due to the contact
with the cutting tool and injure the operator or be wound
up onto the cutting tool and can damage the tool�
• If during operation of the tool the cutting accessory
has run against any object (for example, a stone or
stub), has been jammed by a foreign object (for ex-
ample, a twig) or something has been wound on it (for
example, a rope or wire), switch off the tool immedi-
ately� Remove the defect and carefully inspect parts of
the tools - it is expressly prohibited to continue with the
work if the tool's parts are damaged.
If you operate the cutting disc, it is ex-
pressly prohibited to use the tool for
making edges at garden paths and for
mowing the grass around trees, along
walls, etc.
After finishing operation
• It is allowed to remove the tool from the working
place only after shutting down the engine and full stop-
ping of the cutting accessory�
• Certain elements of the tool (for example, parts of
the engine, etc�) get very hot during operation - don't
touch them before they cool down�
• Keep the tool in a place protected from moisture
and not accessible for children; always remove the cap
from the spark plug.
• If you plan not to use the tool for a long period of
time, be sure to pour out the fuel from the fuel tank and
also demount the cutting accessory�
