5.5 Wiring of the cards

Wiring Precautions
1. Care must be taken to ensure that maximum voltage rating specified on the
label is not exceeded.
2. For the panel-mount version, it is recommended that near the equipment an
external fuse and an external switch rated at 2A/250 VAC should be equipped.
3. Beware not to over tighten the terminals screws. The torque should not ex-
ceed 0.4 N-m ( 3.6 Lb-in or 4.0 Kg F-cm ).
4. Except the thermocouple wirings, all wirings should be stranded copper con-
ductor with maximum gauge 18 AWG.
5. Connect a grounding conductor with 1.6mm diameter minimum to provide pro-
tective grounding prior to turning on the equipment.
