3-2-1. Microphone Level Adjustment

. Oscilloscope:
Tektronix TDS3054B or equivalent
. Extension board: EX-854
(Sony Part No.: A-8344-228-A)
Preparations
1. Turn OFF the power of the unit, and extend the AU-
297 board using the EX-854 board.
2. Set the switch S500-2 on the DEC-146 board to OFF.
(Refer to Section 1-7.)
3. Turn ON the power of the unit, and warm up the unit
for about ten minutes.
Adjustment Procedure
1. MIC 1 level adjustment
Equipment:
Oscilloscope
Test Point:
TP351 (GND : E301)/AU-297
board
Adjustment Point: 1RV351/AU-297 board
A = 1100 ± 50 mV p-p
Specifications:
2. MIC 2 level adjustment
Equipment:
Oscilloscope
Test Point:
TP401 (GND : E301)/AU-297
board
Adjustment Point: 1RV401/AU-297 board
B = 1100 ± 50 mV p-p
Specifications:
Settings after Adjustment
. Set the switch S500-2 on the DEC-146 board to ON.
(Refer to Section 1-7.)
. Restore the AU-297 board to the original position.
