The red light on the iHome Nova iHRV6 home station indicates an error state. If the station is not emptying out, possible reasons could include a clog in the dust collection system, a full dustbin, or an issue with the docking process. Check for blockages, ensure the dustbin is properly installed, and confirm that the Nova is correctly docked.

The iHome Nova iHRV6 vacuum may not be emptying when docked and showing a blinking red light due to the following reasons:
1. The dust collector cover is not properly closed. 2. There is foreign matter blocking the dust duct cover at the bottom of the dust collector. 3. The dust bag is not installed or not installed properly. 4. The Auto Empty Base cover is open.
To resolve the issue: - Ensure the dust collector cover is fully closed. - Check for and remove any foreign matter in the dust duct cover using a screwdriver if necessary. - Install or replace the dust bag correctly. - Confirm that the Auto Empty Base cover is completely closed and sealed. - Ensure the Nova is correctly docked on the Auto Empty Base. - Try manually sending the Nova to empty by pressing the power button, allowing it to leave the base, pausing it, and then pressing the button again.
