LEDs and Push Buttons
General Purpose LEDs (LED8–1)
Eight general-purpose LEDs are connected to the processor through a
latch on signals
registers or by writing to a memory address. Refer to
Buttons" on page 1-15

Reset LED (LED9)

When
is lit (red), a master reset of all the major ICs is active.
LED9

Power LED (LED10)

When
is lit (green), it indicates that power is being properly sup-

functionality is programmable via SPI.

USB Monitor LED (ZLED3)

The USB monitor LED (
been initialized successfully and you may connect to the processor using
an EZ-KIT Lite session. Once the USB cable is plugged into the board, it
takes approximately 15 seconds for the USB monitor LED to light. If the
LED does not light, try cycling power on the board and/or reinstalling the
USB driver.
When the development software is actively communicating with
the EZ-KIT Lite target board, the LED can flicker, indicating
communications handshake.
