Note: During all handling of the valve, make sure that the digester connection flange
surface doesn't get damaged. Never place the valve on a hard surface, e.g. on a
concrete floor. Instead place it on a soft and clean material, e.g. a new and clean
wooden board.
The ProCap is normally delivered as a complete and pre-tested valve assembly with
actuators, jammer, limit switches etc. We always recommend to keep the valve
assembly complete during the entire transportation and installation. However, if space
is limited, the big actuator can be removed during transportation without the need to
re-adjust the entire assembly after it has been re-installed to the valve. Follow the steps
