Unsatisfactory drying results

Problem
The laundry is too damp
after a drying cycle.
The laundry feels damp
after drying.
The laundry is too damp
or too dry after a drying
cycle.
There is still water in
the drum after drying.

Cause and remedy
The load is too small. The electronics could not as-
sess the residual moisture correctly.
 In the future, use a Warm air programme for small
amounts of laundry.
During the spin cycle, the laundry formed a ring in
the drum because the laundry was distributed un-
evenly.
The laundry formed a ring during the thermospin be-
cause it was too damp or because the spin speed
was set too high.
 Open the door and loosen the laundry.
 Start the drying programme again with a lower
spin speed.
Warm laundry can feel damp.
 Spread the laundry out to cool it down.
The desired residual moisture level is between two
drying stages.
 Change the level of drying as described in "Set-
tings", "Drying levels".
There is a blockage in the water outlet.
 Clean the drain filters and the drain pumps as de-
scribed in "Opening the door in the event of a
blocked drain outlet and/or power failure" and
check the height of the drainage point.
