7.1 Maintenance Schedule

7.2 General rules

Wrong maintenance will lead to human injuries or dangerous accidents, only qualified persons are
allowed to maintain the electric winch, if you are not qualified, please contact your dealer.

Daily inspection: Before daily use, operator should always perform a visual inspection to prevent
any surprises. This must be logged in a logbook.
Periodic Inspection: Check by a professional according to the user work situation. This must be
logged in a logbook.

Wire rope – kinks, abrasions, corrosion, broken wires, improper
spooling
Wiring- fraying, defective insulation
Hook block – safety latch, swivel bearing
Electric Control - External Breakage Push Buttons Panel/Cable
Brake Disc - Slippage, Glazing, Contamination, or Excessive Wear
Wire Rope - Lubrication, Securing Elements (Thimble, Ferrule)

Drum - Set Screw, Distortion, Cracks, or Excessive Wear

If any abnormal behaviour of the winch is found before, during and after
operation, please contact a professional and inspect the winch.
