Observe the temperature application limits and the min-
imum circulation volume on the heat consumer side (see
chapter "Specification / Data table").

Drain the system when there is a risk of frost and the heat
pump is completely switched off (see chapter "Mainte-
nance / Draining the DHW cylinder").
f If you take the system out of use, set the heat pump manager

to standby so that the safety functions that protect the appli-
ance (e.g. frost protection) remain active.

14. Maintenance

Carry out all electrical connection and installation work
in accordance with relevant regulations.

Before any work on the appliance, disconnect all poles
of the appliance from the power supply.
Draining the buffer cylinder
f Drain the buffer cylinder via the drain valve.

Draining the DHW cylinder
CAUTION Burns
Hot water may escape during draining.
f Close the shut-off valve in the cold water inlet line.

f Open the hot water taps on all draw-off points.
f
f Empty the DHW cylinder via the cold water inlet connection.

Cleaning and descaling the DHW cylinder
Material losses
!
Never use descaling pumps or descaling agents to clean
the cylinder.
f Clean the appliance through the inspection port.
f
For the torque of the flange screws, see chapter "Specification /
Dimensions and connections".
Replacing the signal anode
f Replace the signal anode if it becomes depleted.
