• Disconnect the tyre warmers from the socket after 45 minutes at the latest.
• Never heat for longer than necessary! Keep the heat supply to a minimum.
Unfasten the hook-and-loop fastening and carefully remove the tyre warmers from the tyre by turning
the wheel slowly towards you.
CAUTION!
Risk of burns!
• Wear gloves when removing the heated tyre warmers from the tyre.
Also make sure that the tyre warmers do not get caught in the hugger or any other parts of the
vehicle. Never pull on the tyre warmer, as this could damage the heating wires.
Allow both tyre warmers to cool down fully and make sure that they are completely dry before you
roll them up and stow them in the plastic case.
IMPORTANT!
Risk of damage
• Place the cables in the side of the plastic case so that the plugs or cables
cannot damage the heating wires when the case is closed.
• Do not fold the tyre warmers when packing them away, as this could also
damage the heating wires.
6 | Storage
Always store the tyre warmer set in a cool (room temperature 15-22°C), dry (relative air humidity of
0-70% - non-condensing) place which is protected from the elements (e.g. in a cellar or garage).

7 | Cleaning and care

The tyre warmer set must not under any circumstances be washed. Remove any dirt with a dry
cleaning brush with soft nylon bristles, for instance, or at most with a damp cloth.

8 | Troubleshooting

Fault
The tyre warmer set does
not work.
The LED display lights
up but the tyre warmer
set does not generate
any heat
The orange LED lights up
constantly and does not
switch to green.

Possible causes and remedies
There may be a problem with the power supply.
- Check whether the power plug is properly plugged in?
- Check whether the socket needs to be switched on.
- Check whether a circuit breaker has tripped or a fuse has blown.
Malfunction or fault on the tyre warmer set.
- Send the tyre warmer set to Louis Customer Service for repair or
possible replacement.
The outdoor temperature may be so low that the tyre warmer set
cannot achieve a temperature of 70°C.
