4.1 | Intended use

The Louis Tyre Warmer Set is used to warm up motorcycle racing tyres evenly to an ideal operating
temperature of approximately 70°C before using them on the race track. If the tyres have been
warmed up properly using the tyre warmer set in accordance with these instructions for use, they will
provide good grip straight away as soon as you begin your ride.
The tyre warmer set must only be used for motorcycle racing tyres (slicks) of the following size:
Front: 120/70-17"
Rear: 180/55 to 190/50 (55)-17" (16.5")
The tyre warmer set is not suitable for wet tyres or normal (standard) road tyres as the tyre warmer
set can damage the rubber components of these tyres.
Given that the tyre warmer set is not designed for any specific vehicle (observe the above tyre
specifications), it is important to make sure that the product is suitable for use with your type of
motorcycle/tyres before you use it for the first time. It is imperative that you always follow the
instructions in your vehicle operator's manual and the directions of the vehicle and tyre manufacturer.
This is essential because if the tyre warmer set is used improperly or if it is not the suitable type, the
safety and/or the condition of the vehicle can be compromised.
Only use the tyre warmer set as described in these instructions. Any other use is considered
improper use and may result in material damage. The manufacturer and supplier accept no liability
for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.

4.2 | Safety instructions

WARNING!
Risk of fire!
• Check the tyre warmer set for damage before use. The product must not be
used any further if there is any visible wear or damage.
• Always use the correct size of tyre warmers for the respective tyres. If installed
with folds or overlaps, there is a risk of isolated overheating on the tyre. If the
tyre is not fully and evenly covered, it will warm unevenly.
WARNING!
Risk of electric shock!
• The tyre warmer set must only be used in a dry condition, and never used in a
damp environment or in the rain.
• Only ever connect the tyre warmer set if the mains voltage of the socket
matches the information on the rating plate.
Declaration of Conformity (see section entitled "Declaration of
Conformity"): Products marked with this symbol comply with all
applicable Community regulations of the European Economic Area.
This symbol indicates electrical devices which have double protective
insulation.
Devices marked with this symbol may only be operated indoors.
This symbol indicates that the packaging and product can be recycled.
