3 | Warnhinweise Um die Fahrsicherheit zu gewährleisten, muss der Gepäckträger immer so am Fahrzeug angebracht werden, dass für den Fahrer eine ausreichende Sicht auf den Verkehr gegeben ist. Der Gepäckträger muss fest montiert sein, denn ein herabfallender Gepäckträger kann andere Verkehrsteilnehmer gefährden und zu schweren Schäden führen. -

LUGGAGE RACK 1 | General information These instructions for installation and use apply exclusively to the product described. They contain important information on installation, safety and warranty. You should always follow these instructions, including if you give the product to someone else. Keep them in a safe place so that you can refer to them again later. -

3 | Warnings In order to use the luggage rack safely, it must be installed on the motorcycle in such a way that it does not impede the rider’s view of the road or traffic. The luggage rack must be securely mounted because if it were to fall off, it would pose a hazard to other road users and could cause a serious accident. -

Undo the four M5 x 20 mm hex socket bolts on the luggage rack clamps. Remove the top half of the clamps and undo the lock nuts in the clamping pieces. If you have a 22- mm handlebar, put the reducer sleeves onto the handlebar. Position the luggage rack centrally on the handlebar tube so that the clamping pieces are an equal distance to the left and right of the handlebar mount. -

3 | Waarschuwingen Voor de rijveiligheid moet de bagagedrager altijd zo op het voertuig worden aangebracht, dat de motorrijder voldoende zicht heeft op het verkeer. De bagagedrager moet stevig worden bevestigd, want als deze van de motor valt, kunnen andere verkeersdeelnemers in gevaar komen en ernstig letsel oplopen. -

• Bagage aan het stuur verandert het zwaartepunt, de rij-eigen- schappen en het stuurgedrag van het voertuig. De wind heeft meer vat op het voertuig. Probeer daarom eerst voorzichtig te wennen aan de veranderde omstandigheden en rij eerst voor- zichtig en terughoudend met het beladen voertuig. Een proefrit op een overzichtelijk terrein is daar voor een goede gelegenheid. -
