Electrical connections
Outside temperature sensor (accessories)
1. Fit the outside temperature sensor.
Installation location:
■ North or north-westerly wall, 2 to
2.5 m above ground level; in
multi storey buildings, in the
upper half of the second floor
■ Not above windows, doors or
vents
■ Not immediately below balconies
or gutters
■ Never render over.
■ Connection:
2-core lead, length up to 35 m
with a cross-section of 1.5 mm
Power supply
Connect the power cable to the building
mains.
Recommended power cable
■ 3-core cable, flexible
■ Cable cross-section: 1.5 mm
■ Rated voltage: 300 V/500 V
■ Temperature resistance: Min. 70 °C
■ If the power supply to the appliance
is connected with a flexible cable,
ensure that the live conductors are
pulled taut before the earth conductor
in the event of strain relief failure.
The length of the earth conductor
wire will depend on the design.

sensor across terminals 3 and 4
(underside of appliance).
