SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:

Regarding personal safety
• Please read the instructions carefully
before using your appliance for the
first time and keep them for future
reference: the manufacturer is not liable
for usage that does not comply with the
instructions.
• Always disconnect the appliance from
the power supply if you are leaving it
unsupervised and before assembly,
disassembly or cleaning.
• Do not leave children to use the
appliance unsupervised.
• This appliance must not be used by
children. Keep the appliance and its
cable out of reach of children.
• Always keep the appliance out of reach
of children.
• W h e n u s i n g t h e
appliance, some parts will
become hot, e.g. measuring
cap, stainless steel bowl, lid,
accessories, knife, internal
steaming basket and external steaming
basket* (depending on the model). This
can lead to burns. Handle the appliance
with its cold plastic parts (handle, base).
• The temperature of accessible surfaces
may be elevated when the appliance is
in operation.
• Do not use your appliance if it does not
work properly, if it has been damaged or
if the power cable or plug are damaged.
To prevent danger, the cord must be
replaced by an authorised service centre
(see list in the service booklet).
• The appliance must not be immersed in
water. Do not put the engine block (C)
under running water.
• This appliance is only intended for
domestic use in the home and at altitudes
lower than 2000 m. The manufacturer
disclaims all liability and reserves the right
to terminate the guarantee in the event
of commercial or unsuitable use, or non-
compliance with instructions.
• This appliance has not been designed to
be used in the following cases which are
not covered by the guarantee: 
– kitchen work areas in shops, offices
and other work environments.
– corner kitchens reserved for staff in
shops, offices and other professional
environments;
– farms;
– use by guests of hotels, motels and
other residential environments;
– b e d a n d b r e a k f a s t t y p e
accommodation.
• WARNING! Your appliance emits
steam which can cause burns.
• Handle the lid and the plug with
caution (if necessary, use a glove, a
pot holder, etc.).
• Do not operate the appliance if the
seal is not positioned on the sub-lid, if
