Pressure regulator
The gas pressure regulator regulates the incoming pressure to a constant working
pressure.
Safety valve
The safety shutdown valve is used to secure all fittings connected downstream from the
gas pressure regulator. In the event of a pressure surge (e.g. due to the external gas supply
being opened too quickly or a line break), the gas supply is closed. If the safety shutoff
valve has been triggered, it must be reset again manually to operate the fire simulation
system.
Pressure switch
To monitor the minimum and maximum pressure levels, there are 2 pressure switches
integrated into the main gas control path. One pressure switch monitors the minimum
pressure via a microswitch. The second pressure switch switches the gas supply off via a
microswitch if a predefined value is reached. The microswitches are closed when the
system is de-energized.
Manometers
The pressure gage is used to display the operating pressure.
Safety blow-out valve
The safety blow-out valve is used to eliminate a excessively high pressure rise. After
triggering the safety blow-out valve, the excess gas is diverted into the open air via the
blow-out line.
Gas filter
The gas filter is used to keep out contamination and to protect the fittings.
Main shut-off valve
The main shut-off valve is used to open and close the gas supply.
